You will burn for that comment Cyclone Ted. Sundays at work are a little rough after being at the strip club until 6 a.m. The last thing I need is for some guy named Ted to be giving me a hard time about it.
I aree with the previous couple posters. Phillip's problem seems to be more mental than anything else.
It's a little disheartening to come read about what's going on with DP and everyone who doesn't even know him has the "inside" track. I'm sure it is difficult to come into a NEW program injured, finally learning the new program and getting injured again. Then when searching around for some type of affirmation to go on cyclonefanatic.com and find that the fans you've been waiting to play for are shredding you. For those that aren't aware, DP is a "scoring machine" inside, outside and can penetrate and beat him man off the dribble on any given day. Just give him a chance! I could have sworn the same Cyclone fans had very little hope for this season, so now when you have a team full of "new" talent trying to thrive, don't break their spirits.
Guess I wanted to see more out of him too like hustling to the scorer's table instead of the leisurely stroll he took and then standing around in the corner when the ball was on his side watching.
Someone mentioned Bubu does not have any potential to get better. That is crazy.
If he can get his outside game consistent, and continue to adjust to physical play, he is a Big 12 point guard. He will probably never be the creator that DG is, but on a team with several options, that can be a good thing.
Clone5 just got owned....
Holy good lord...Ladies, Ladies, Ladies, I don't even want to read that entire Catfight..
DP has not played, first because of his hand...then he had some academic issues, and a little bit of an attitude problem. DP may get some more playing time as the year goes on, because he is just physically stronger and has a little bit more experience than Bubu, but don't count on it. As bubu is the quickest defender we have on the bench.
