Re: Bubu Palo
Bubu played well today. He could make a really big difference and relieve some of the others of having to play so many minutes this year. I think we're really starting to see some results from the work Fred has put into player development. I like what I'm seeing.

This thread is about not feeding Gremlins after dark....or anything except anything to do with the title.
(and yes, Bubu played well - this thread is in now way meant to poke fun at him, just the way CF works sometimes.)

Re: Bubu Palo
NEVER underestimate anyone named Bubu! He kinda got lost on a loaded Ames High team, but the kid is a heck of an athlete. When he comes into a game, he works the crap out of the guy he is defending. He takes care of the ball on offense. My opinion of him has been that he over penetrates and doesn't shoot enough. Well today that certainly wasn't a problem. He's coachable, and has improved significantly thus far. He will be a very important part of this team over the next three years - mark my words.

Yeah, I like what he brings. Heft had him on the locker room show too and he is well spoken.

Re: Bubu Palo
Anyone else think he is similar to Dodie Dunson?
Through 13 games (and the difficulty of the schedules are pretty even): Dunson, 19 min/gm, 4.2 pts/gm, 1.7 rb/gm, 1.1 assist/gm, .5 TO/gm, 31% on threes (10-32), 90% on FT (9-10). Bubu, 12.6 min/gm, 4.2 pts/gm, 1.8 rb/gm, 1.2 assist/gm, .5 TO/gm,
40% on threes (6-15), 70% on FT (19-27).
