Conference RPI

The Big XII has had a couple of good days and now according to LIVE-RPI.com is the 2nd ranked conference. Its a distant 2nd to the Big east, but there's a good chance if this keeps up, that the big XII gets 7 dancing.

That bodes well for ISU, as it is going to be really tough for the Clones to crack the top 6, but that 7th might be a realistic goal for ISU this year. 5th or 6th or better would be great, but I think that there will be a bit of a drop off to #7 and if the clones can get there, I no longer think dancing is out of the question.

Oh, yeah and The Big XII is kicking the Big telven's ***. So much for that premier basketball conference BS. The big ten channel has the biggest homers in the country. They have now passed Dicky V and the ACC in homerism. Enjoyed Texas Stomping a mud hole in the best big ten team last night too.

ISU won't be an NCAA team. It's really that simple.

ISU is an NCAA team, probably not an NCAA tourney team though.

The reason the Big Ten Network announcers are homers is maybe because it is their network. Its not like you are watching Espn or CBS or something. Glad the Cyclones are doing good! I really didn't expect this out of them. I knew they had more talent than Iowa though. Hopefully both teams will be dancing in the years to come!

I DO like they way we are playing but I've also watched other basketball games and think we are going to have some very rough nights. We'll get somebody we aren't supposed to which Mac couldn't do.

I'd be estatic if we are 8 or better in the conference.

I watched Missouri the other night. They have some boys who can play.

I'd love to finish .500 in conference play, but just don't see it happening.

We will be darn lucky to make the NIT.

Fran has stumbled at Iowa imo- inherited a better situation than Fred. He still has two years to recover though.

It should. Iowa's success and playing in an average conference usually go hand-in-hand.

How do you know Texas is the 5th best in the Big 12 and MSU is the 2nd best in the Big Ten right now? MSU has the 6th best record in the Big Ten as of today and Texas is tied with the 6th best record in the Big 12, seems to me right now it was a game between two middle of the pack conference teams, it will change over the year but as of the time they played neither one is the best or 2nd best in their conference.

Yeah because ISU struggled to win by 3 against Iowa so I'm sure they would walk all over anyone in the Big Ten.

I don't think anyone is saying we'll walk over anyone this year.
