We HAVE to play our game. If we let them slow it down...we are in deep ****.
CW has the SCORE BACKWARDS AGAIN.
The closer this game gets, the less I like our chances for some reason. Hope I am just being a debby downer and the guys come out playing well.
Mike Scott played against Seattle, he just didn't start. Stat line shows he played 31 minutes, scored 12 points and collected 8 boards. Will Sherrill did not play against Seattle, however.
I'm obviously concerned about their bigs, but freshman stud K.T. Harrell could really hurt us. He's been inconsistent, naturally as a frosh, but has shown to be a pretty good scorer as of late.
Our back court will have their hands full with the length of UVA's guards.
Virginia isn't very good. We'll win by 10.
I'm worried about this game. UVA has had some things go wrong and it sounds like the wheels fell completely off against Seattle. Usually when that happens, a team bounces back.
We need Melvin to play well. He seems to be the x factor, where he finds ways to score without us running plays for him. He shoots a good %, then I feel good about our chances. He hasn't played well against the better teams though which makes me nervous.
Same story, different game. All five starters need to be productive on both ends. Godfrey and Bubu have to play solid minutes off the bench.
There's your breakdown for every game the rest of this season.
