Brackins would make a big impact come conference season. Games are tighter, you can always use a 6'10 guy who can score from anywhere when times get tough. Instead of having DG play 1 on 5 late in games like we usually do this year.

The black hole factor for Brackins is a curiosity to me. How much of that was him, and how much of it was McDermott trying to force the action to work a certain way?

Craig never came off as a real selfish guy. My gut tells me that he would buy into the team concept, and end up pretty much dominating these games.

But as far as whether people stayed or not, I love it this way. Nobody can really say, "Well, Fred is just winning with someone else's foundation."

There was no real foundation. Total change in the style of play. This is a Fred Hoiberg production.

Put me in the "no thanks" camp.

Anyone realize that McD wouldn't have left then......
