The black hole factor for Brackins is a curiosity to me. How much of that was him, and how much of it was McDermott trying to force the action to work a certain way?
Craig never came off as a real selfish guy. My gut tells me that he would buy into the team concept, and end up pretty much dominating these games.
my thoughts exactly. i think mcdoofus forced cb's hand a bit and wanted to make him be the guy, which i don't know if cb was okay with. he was never really the "leader" of our team. never got in a teammates face or nothin like that. this year is different-it's clearly dgs team. not sayin dg is a better player then cb, but i think this year, in this system, he is more valuable.
Hey, I like CB as much as the next guy, he was and is a great ambassador for our university. I just think he was both team's best player on too many nights for me to think we would be better off with him in the lineup this year.
Also, if he (or Gilstrap, Hamiltom, Dendy, etc) is still here, think about who might not be. Either a workhorse, stalwart guard (JA) or one of those guys wearing warm ups who seem to be doing a great job of preparing this team.
