Heading to Lincoln...Need some suggestions

Ok so I'm 32 and an alumnus of ISU. But I've never been to a road game before....for Basketball or Football. What should I know heading to Lincoln? Any suggestions? This can be anything from color of clothes to what to bring... to god knows what. Thanks in advance!

HEY, RUNZAS ARE GOOD. Try to have one every time i go to Omaha or CB Gonna have one Saturday before the game in Lincoln. Rather give my money to an Iowa store than Lincoln.

You know why the Neb state prison is on Lincoln? Easier to recruit.

Every time I'm in Lincoln it's become a tradition among my friends to eat at this bar called Lucky's near the airport. I'm not even sure if the food is that good, we just keep going there. Maybe it's the Keno.

Parking for the arena is horrible. Be prepared to park several blocks away in the Fairgrounds, unless they've made a big upgrade.

Just wear your Cyclone gear. It won't be a surprise. Most of them are used to our invasions.

Last time I was in Nebraska for a ISU game pigeons were flying around the arena, so watch out for bird crap.

Indeed... be aware of parking. I got caught in the fairgrounds several years ago and it took me nearly an hour to get out.

If you see an old fart with an ugly red sportscoat wandering aimlessly around that dump they call an arena, it's probably Tom Osborne. Tell him to kiss off for me.

The Omaha/Council Bluffs Cyclone Club will being at Brewsky's , 201 N. 8th street in
Lincoln (Haymarket area ) before the game. Our bus, which is sold out, is leaving Council Bluffs around 2pm. with a brief stop in Omaha to pick up some Omaha Clones.

I always wear my golden rules shirt that says "beat Nebraska" on the back when I go. I love wearing that thing around Omaha.
