Extremely excited for tonight

I think we're prepared well enough to be able to go on the road in the Big 12 and pick up a win. Wins at Iowa and Virginia will go a long way tonight towards making that vision a reality. I'm not necessarily expecting a win, but I'm very very excited for conference play to begin.

well i think excitement is a good choice of words.. not necessarily meaning that i expect anything great to happen, but it is exciting to be able to finally gague our team against some real competition. 13-2 is very exciting and its time to see how we stack up against the conference

I've been really excited since I got off work at noon...I've found that my all day Cyclone excitement usually ends in a letdown when it goes on and we don't play until 7. I am trying to get my mind off of it until tipoff, but doing laundry just led me right back to CF.

Watched the osu v ksu game. After that not very excited about the up coming conference schedule.

Yeah, the Big 12 is a meat grinder for certain. And its only going to get worse next year when two of the bottom-feeders leave.
I try to keep things in perspective when I think about next year. But its hard because I love the taste of Kool-aid. I try to keep in mind that even though we have big-time talent activating next year, a lot of Big 12 teams have big-time talent. Year in and year out.
That's what is amazing about what we were able to accomplish in 2000 & 2001.

I haven't been this excited for a bball game in a while. I will only be slightly disappointed if we lose, because I think my expectations are pretty well grounded (who would have thought we could win this game 2 months ago?), but I am very excited to see how we perform. We'll need an 80+% Scotty to be competitive, IMO.

Of course, I find it helpful to mix my Cyclone Kool-Aid with a liberal helping of Captain Morgan. That makes me happy, even if we do happen to lose tonight.
