Kansas reinstates Mario Little

It looks like Mario Little will be eligible to play tomorrow night when Kansas comes to Ames. He was arrested earlier this season.

He'll probably go for about 20 and 10 and be the difference in the game for KU. That's how these things usually turn out for us, anyway.

What did he get arrested for? Need some good ideas for signs tomorrow night.

Kind of grew to like Mario a little bit after how he toyed with the student section last year despite being yelled at the whole game. Now Morningstar on the other hand.

He was arrested for assault stemming from grabbing and pushing several people (men and women) including his girlfriend in two different homes after learning that his girlfriend was with another guy. Details may not exactly correct, but this was the general nature of what happened based on newspaper accounts.

My first thought was that Little wouldn't get anything more than garbage minutes. Then I saw that Travis Releford, who has been playing about 15 minutes a game as a wing and 4th big, probably won't play. I still don't think Little will do much. He'll only get significant minutes if ISU can get two of KU's three big guys in foul trouble. I don't see that happening, though; ISU is one of the worst teams in the country at getting to the free throw line.

If I were Hoiberg, I'd much rather see Little, who hasn't practiced in a month, as far as I know, over Releford, who has been playing pretty well the last few weeks.
