Re: Godfrey
Godfrey might get a chance to start by his senior year.

Re: Godfrey
He may get a chance to start before the end of the season. Heck if he continues to improve over this offseason, he could make the starting lineup on next seasons team, I have no idea where tough.

Re: Godfrey
This comes as no slight to Godfrey, but he's LeRon Dendy 2.0. He's a raw, physical guy that can do a variety of things for your team. Rebound, defend, run the floor, and most importantly, for this young team, he can be a lighting rod off the bench.
Railey has a chance to be a good post player. He's 6'10" and needs to bulk up. He can be a presence in the middle for ISU down the road.

Re: Godfrey
I really like Railey, Godfrey and Ejim is just a stud. Really good class. Railey will take some time but he will get there.
Last night was the first time any of those guys have seen competition like that, so natural they would struggle with the speed and physicalness of the game. All 3 will be good players i think.

CG probably has a reputation of agressive, and those calls were a result.
I thought he was totally fine. He was posting up, and KU didn't want anything to do with him.
Keep it up CG, just a little less obvious.

I've noticed a lot of improvement in his control and "knowing his limits" since the start of the season.
I used to notice it seemed like about EVERY time down the court he thought they should throw him the 'oop (and it never happened)...then he kinda looked like he was pouting. I saw him on campus and asked him about it and he said, "Man, they tell us to run, run, run and they never throw it to me." (we were joking about it, but he reminded me of a little kid the way he said it)
I think his future is bright and as Coach always says, him in the game does increase the energy of others. I agree that Godfrey will have a bright future at ISU, but also understand his “they never throw it to me” comment as I thought that myself on several occasions. I always pay close attention to the way shots are falling in warm ups and believe he is maturing and improving with every passing game. Let’s face it. He is only a freshman, but given more time, determination and pursuit of excellence in his game he is destined to become a highly regarded college player! I have seen a lot of great players who became great only though the passage of time and intense effort. Calvin will be one of those whose dominance and skill set will continue to grow. The team is playing beyond my expectations! Give these guys one more year and ISU has the potential to really move up in the rankings! -

I have a feeling there won't be enough balls to go around with the team next year.
