Booker and White at last night's game

I just wanted to bring up one of the best things about last night for me. Before the game, while the team was warming up, Royce White and Anthony Booker were standing at half court, watching the Jayhawks warm up. You could just see in their eyes, and the way they were standing, they were licking their chops. They looked so hungry to get their hands on Kansas next year they were practically salivating on the floor.

Then, as the game progressed, both of them got really in to the crowd noise, dancing and chanting along with the student section, eyes wide as saucers but completely loving it.

I also noticed those guys really getting into the crowd and the music too, which was great last night.

Our front line is going to hit the Big 12 like a brick wall next year. White, Booker, Railey, Godfrey, Ejim, Cook. AHHHH!

How sweet would it have been if those guys could have matched up with the morris twins last night! Man I cant wait for next year.

Someone in another thread mentioned that they saw Booker take Godfrey aside at halftime and talk to him about defense. Sounds like all those guys are good teammates.

Royce seems to be doing well here. All of the scout team guys are pretty involved in the games and are taking their job seriously.

A few things...Royce almost got tossed last night...yelled the Fbomb after a pretty bad call by the cue ball ref at said cue ball.

Second, all of those guys want to play, bad, i mean REAL bad.

Booker helps coach a little in the post with Railey and CG...he's always yelling at them about position on defense and trying to help them out.

Last, Talked to Royce before the game and he said, Man I wish I could play...I'm the biggest one here. Told me he's gained 8lbs since fall, I'm up to 258lbs and that he's been doing tons of squats. I said that they list the Morris boys at 250 a piece and he just laughed and said they were probably a little over 230.
