Seeing what Penn State is doing makes me wonder something about our Big Ten transfers:
1) We're better having Royce White, and Minnesota seems more cohesive now than they were (although Royce wasn't there enough to be that problem). Seems like both programs won, somehow.
2) We're better having Chris Babb, and we'll love his shooting and defense next year. Penn State is pulling upsets without him. Did both programs win in that deal?
3) Michigan State clearly misses Chris Allen. Both programs did not win there.
4) Not Big Ten, but it's worth putting him in here: Jake Anderson. We clearly won that one.
Seems like we've been involved in some win/win scenarios, although our side will look much better when our guys take the court.
I questioned Baylor being ranked in the top 10 heading into the season, and at the same time predicted ISU would get this one (even with a mostly sight-unseen roster).
I didn't necessarily expect BU to drop completely out of the Top 25, but they might not return — next four games are vs. KU, vs. OSU, @KSU, v CU ... games at A&M and @Texas soon after.
Hamilton dug himself in a hole by publicly speaking out against McDermott and ISU. It sounded like he wanted to come back shortly after the Hoiberg hire but it was too late because of what he said. Sure we really could have used him but that is his fault. Now he can enjoy riding the bench at LSU.
F hamilton. I hope we find a way to get LSU on the damn schedule next year, just so he can see and feel how idiodic his decision is/was. The whole conversation he and Lucca had as hamilton was transferring really chapped my ***.
Sorry for the vent session. As far as the OP...I did happen to enjoy the read. Thanks for sharing.
