Baylor board meltdown
I rarely do it, but I checked out a BU fan board game-day thread, just to see how other fanbases react to losses of this sort. **OFFICIAL** Baylor @ Iowa St. game thread
Among my favorite posts:
"Time to end Hilton magic. Let's do this."
"This is horrible. Why can't anyone cover these white guys. This is unreal."
"We came up against a far superior team tonight! Individual talent will not carry you against a solid team! We have got to start playing as a team."

Did you see the addition at the end of the thread?
The Art of Predicting a Team to Finish Dead Last in the Big 12, and then Getting Blown Out by Said Team.

Re: Baylor board meltdown
I like that, I think Fred's staff should print that and show it to all recruits.

Baylor @ Iowa St. line/score predictions thread
They were not exactly a unified bunch swimming in optimism coming into the game.

At least we know for sure what will happen when our first-year coach runs into teams with much more talent that we have.
He'll take Kansas to the wire and smack down Baylor. That's not a bad start.
That board is so much fun to read.

Re: Baylor board meltdown
It appears that most of their fans had a pretty good handle on their team. I like the guys comment on that if they guard Scotty and Jamie, they win, if wishes were fishes.

Re: Baylor board meltdown
Too funny. Glad we're not on the opposite end tonight. Just kind of puts things in perspective...
Not exactly an embarrassing loss, though, I have to disagree with some of the comments in that thread. The reality is that the Big 12 is a very strong basketball conference this season, and 10 out of the 12 teams have at least a good chance getting into the NCAA tournament this year. That's not to say that every one of those 10 teams WILL make it in, but I digress.
Big 12 road wins will be very tough for any team to come by this season. And BU, despite how good your men's basketball team has gotten the past couple of seasons, you've still yet to win at Hilton. If you're going to act like you've been there before, it's best to make sure you already have.

Re: Baylor board meltdown
Anyone else notice who skimmed through the entire thread that they were ****** they allowed all the "White Boy" and "Crackers" to keep making three's on them?

Speaking of posters there, you don't call yourself "bono" over there, do you? -
