Recruiting a big guy for next year?
Hope this hasn't been discussed ad nauseum. Are CFH and the staff still recruiting for next season, specifically a big man - 6'11" - 7'? Any names? Thanks.

one was a PF (maybe Dingle but he was only 6-6 or 6-7)

Not that anyone has talked about. They have several players that are capable of playing the low post next year and all schol. are accounted for.

Last year we had Jeff Rutter stuck in Europe due to ash from the volcano trying to find recruits to fill out the McD roster. Glad those days are over.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -

I'm pretty sure the book has been classed on the '11 class for awhile now and they're just focusing on 2012. Before Phillips left they were already one scholly over the limit. I don't really see a need for another big body either with White, Booker, Godfrey, Railey, and even Ejim.

Yes, please no more euro recruits. If someone is going to leave the team to play pro, I want it to be for the NBA, not some two-bit euro league.

Pure speculation... I would guess if someone isn't here next year (we're full right now) that Bubu get's it, it gets banked for 2012, or a combination of both.
I think the 2012 class is going to be an awesome class for us, and (I beleive) we only have 2 available.

Kamari Murphy - Yahoo! Sports
This guy is class of 2011 out of Brooklyn. Only 6 foot 7, but classified as a "Power Forward." Looks like some decent offers.

Meaning 2012 recruits. 2011, that class is in the barn isn't it?

Now I'm sad, because I have this beautiful dream of some kid out there in some sort of Horace Grant Goggles/Lucha mask hybrid, and I know it will never happen.

I wouldn't be surprised to see someone like Murphy, listed at 6'-7" now, come in at 6'-8" or 6'-9"

Re: Recruiting a big guy for next year?
I'd guess we are keeping an eye on a few players in case some unexpected attrition occurs, but I don't think we have extended any offers for 2011 Bigs. Godfrey, White, Booker, and Railey would give us 4 bigs to play down low, and I expect we will see Ejim at the 4 quite a bit next year as well, and CFH even indicated that we may see some 4 guard lineups with Babb at the 4 next season.
