Anybody else see the short piece in this week's Cityview that slams the decision to put up a statue of Johnny Orr?
They seem to be completely ignoring the longterm impact that Coach Orr had on the basketball program and that we were able to bring in Tim and then Larry due to the success that Coach Orr had had. To argue that ISU is honoring mediocrity by putting up a statue of Johnny seems asinine.
Here's the link if other people feel the need to get angry for a while.
Just to be clear....Cityview truly isn't worth the paper it is printed on. If I found myself in the woods with a case of the squirts I would wipe my *** with a rabid porcupine before I would use that thing.

The people at City View obviously had never been to a game at Hilton before Johnny got here. They also do not realize that Tim and Larry did not have to invest the first few years with bad records because the cupboard was completely bare when Johnny got here. I think if you just take Johnny's last ten years, his winning percentage would be comparable if not better than Tim's and Larry's.
