    Chris Allen question

Chris Allen played on an obviously talented final four team at MSU last season. This year he plays on a, hopefully, very talented scout team at ISU.

I know I could look up how many Rivals stars each player on both teams had when they came out of high school. But, I imagine he would be a better judge of how the talent on the two teams would compare.

Has anybody heard or read something where he compares the talent he played with last year vs. the (potential) talent that will be on next year’s ISU squad?

    Thanks.

Really an unfair question to ask Chris.

Sure, if you're Chris Allen. Just kidding. Thanks for the reply.

    Re: Chris Allen question

    According to Rivals you have:
Chris Allen #33 player in the country (4 star)
Royce White #19 player in the country (5 star)
Anthony Booker #43 player in the country (4 star)
everyone else 3 star or below

    Re: Chris Allen question

I feel like its impossible to judge a Michigan State team of the last few years simply by looking at stats or rankings. No matter how shaky they look during the regular season those boys somehow always manage to pull it all together in the end. All I know is that Chris Allen was at the rec the other night and I saw him put his whole head above the rim... pure athlete.

    Re: Chris Allen question

Look at North Carolina, their roster is full of 5 stars but they are having okay season. Its really hard to judge how we will play next year based on stars and level of talent.

One of new recruits could become next Jimmer Fredette. Who the heck knows :)

    Re: Chris Allen question

Not that I know of anything, but I would not be shocked if one of the Scout team guys goes in the draft or goes oversees. I hope not because it could be a first in college basketbll to see so many guys come in via transfer, etc...play at a high level
