Quick postgame notes to ISU's 82-76 loss to Oklahoma
Some quick notes before I head over to Es Tas for the postgame show that will begin shortly on 1460 KXNO and kxno.com. Call in and talk about the loss at 866-333-5966.
- Iowa State out-rebounded Oklahoma by 11 in the loss. Clones were 5-of-24 from 3-point range. Ejim led the way with 19 and 12.
- Earlier this week, I wrote that OU didn't have a player capable of going off like Mike Singletary did for Texas Tech. Steven Pledger's 38 points put a big foot in my mouth. Props to that guy.
- Tommy Mason-Griffin ironically dropped 38 on the Clones last season.
- Remember that OU led Iowa State 14-3 with 15:16 to go in the first half.
- Iowa State is 9-of-45 from 3-point range over its last two games.

Yes, for the love of God someone at the post-game press conference ask how it is possible to lose 3 conference games in identical fashion. We need to try something different, there must be someone on the team who knows how to lob up a shot before the backboard turns red.

Can people PLEASE just stay in their seats at the end of games instead of going down and standing along the rail. I feel like it creates some bad mojo.

That was hilarious watching all those people sit there in the concourse trying to decide if they were going to be a real fan and go back to there seats, or stand in the concourse during overtime and deprive our team of the support they needed. Way to go fans!!!
