Yay, another "let's blame Jamie Pollard" fail - considering the thing was already starting to go downhill before he even got here...

I agree that greg mcdermott is to blame for this incompetent bunch of b-ball players ( i know im being generous calling them players).....

Who do you think recruited these guys? Well Greg McDermott of course and now you know why he fled to creighton-omaha....

As far as Pollard is concerned I will say it in one sentence...Pollard just can't resist the next great Young Coaching Hire....Ever hear of Gene Chizik, well Greg McDermott is in the same bunch...

Do you honestly think that Jamie Pollard would ever have the stones to hire a coach like Johnny Orr? If you think that Jamie would, I have some swampland in Louisiana I'd like to Sell YOU...........

Boys you er we had better all pray that Freddie works out or else its back to hiring the NEXT GREAT YOUNG COACH....

I don't think that really applies to recent hires, with Rhoads, Hoiberg, and Kevin Jackson at least. I think it worked out well taking that approach in volleyball.

It's a different world than when ISU brought Johnny in, I bet Johnny would tell you that too in more colorful terms.
I don't do signatures. Blondes, brunettes, and red heads are a different story.

How about if we all just forget this stupid talk of a "curse", and leave the past in the past.

Good grief, what are you all, a bunch of Cubs fans, needing to find excuses for losing, rather than finding reasons to win?

This would have a little more merit if we actually had any of the guys he recruited. We have what, 3 or 4 Gmac guys left? And I'm pretty sure everyone here would agree that the Gmac holdover's aren't the guys losing us games. I get bashing all the guys that left after Gmac's "departure" but let's not knock the guys who are responsible for us even having a glimmer of sucess this year.

Oh and I love how you left our CPR of the list of JP hires....that the most enduring trait of the JP hater, only see the negative!

If anything, we should blame James Naismith. If he never invented this game, we wouldn't be here arguing about it. Ugghhh.. damn him!

This team is cursed by the last coaches issues with keeping players for more than 2 seasons. The program is not cursed.

DG and JVB are McD recruits. Next year, SC will be the lone remaining recruit after two years? That is called leaving the cupboard bare.

McD is now bemoaning the lack of senior leadership at CU. His boy had to get 25 points last night to get the win. The old guys are just not performing at CU. Guess Dana Altman left his cupboard bare.

When Dana made it to Oregon, he saw also that his cupboard was bare.

Looks like there are bare cupboards all over.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style.

You can find him here: Wayne Morgan - GoHofstra.com - The Official Website of Hofstra Pride Athletics

Apparently Wayne finally swallowed his pride and took another assistant coaching job after declaring when he was fired he wanted to remain a head coach. I believe his satellite company went out of business a couple of years ago.

And do you think a veteran coach like Johnny would ever come to Iowa State again? The only reason Johhny ended up at Iowa State is that we were willing to pay him more then Michigan did. Right now economically we are not in that kind of position.
