The Curse of Wayne Morgan

We need to request that the athletic department immediately take action to lift this curse. Perhaps we could hang a banner in Hilton to honor Coach Morgan or open another booster bar in Hilton and call it Wayne's World.

I don't think ISU sees the NCAA tournament again until our mistreatment of Wayne is rectified. Don't get me wrong I wanted to move on from him too, but not in exchange for the curse.

I thought about calling it the Larry Curse or the Natty Lite Curse but I felt that ISU really didn't do anything wrong when it came to LE's departure, but cutting WM loose after he went to the NIT Finals and NCAA might have been a bit unfair.

Maybe we should sacrifice a live chicken before the next game. Or at the very least, a bucket of KFC.

After considering the information brought-forth here, I am inclined to agree that it really most likely is the Natty Lite Curse of ISU Basketball.

I've never bought Natty Lite, but I will do my part to get some during my next beer run and consume as much as I can in order to appease the basketball Gods.

Honestly, guys.. The only way to lift the curse is for every fan, not at the next home game, to shot gun one Natty Light right at tip off, immediately followed by snorting a line of blow and then shot gunning one more Natty Light. This is the only actual way of lifting the curse. If we don't start winning after that, there is no hope.

You idiots can't be serious. If anything, Pollard and McDermott should be more to blame. And how about JVB with his pathetic shooting/court awareness?? And DG with 3 pathetic fouls in the 1st half (not to mention his brutal clock management at the end of regulation?) The blame you are putting on people is in the wrong place.

Natty Light and blow seem like an unlikely combination.

This would be the most logical response in this thread. We're not cursed - we just don't have good players, and haven't really had any decent talent since 2005-06. Next year, when all of our transfers become eligible, will be much more telling.
