These same issues were prevalent when Fred played. You just did not hear about it as much because it took awhile for the newspapers to pick up on it.

Well, there's one big difference: Izzo was an assisstant college coach for 16 years, at Northern Michigan and then MSU. He knew exactly what he was getting into.
