Game watch at Johnny's

Got a postcard today in the mail about game watches at Johnny's for Cyclone Club Members costs $10 per person 2 max. 500 person limit. For Feb 12. at Kansas and Feb 22 at Texas

Looks like they listened to the people who complained that they couldn't use the new sports bar, and made a opportunity for members of all levels to use it.

I am aware of this but I probably will not have another opportunity to see the inside of Johnny's in the near future, so I thought it would be an interesting experience.

if your a cyclone club member and didn't get the card it says call the Cyclone Club at 515-294-5022. It also says each member may only attend one game watch.

How elitist is that?! Not everyone can afford $10! Where is their morality? Capitalist pigs!

I signed up for the Texas game and it only charged $10 per pair ($5/ea.)

Good idea. I doubt I'll go this season as I prefer to watch away games in my home where screaming strings of profanities is not frowned upon (except by my wife).

Looking forward to hearing reports back from anyone who does attend though. Wonder how much a beer costs in there.

I was not able to make it for the gamewatch today but I think this is a great idea! It lets donors at all levels get a chance to experience Johnny's and the athletic department makes a little cash. Obviously, I think this is a win/win.

I'm really hoping they do this for football. We end up watching a lot of the road games at local sportsbars and I'd rather watch the game there with all clone fans instead of having to deal with the dirtbag hawk/husker fans at the bar.

I assume you just forgot the sarcasm jimlad, but beer is definitely not free at Johnny's, even for the high rollers.

I was a guest there one night, and it is kind of a neat experience, mostly because Paul and Vicky Rhoads hung out at our table
