That is why we are recruting Korie Lucious

A point guard that can win at the end of the game is vital. Just like Jacob Pullen for Kansas state. Kid is money at the end and has been for a few years. Even if it's one year a winning attitude is very catchy. We need that and we need a guy that can win at the end instead of turn it over or make a horrible shot.

Couldn't agree more. Korie has to see the potential there with all the incoming talent and hilton rocking like it was. If we had 1 more play maker, we win this game...along with a few others...
Yep, this thread has just been pwned.

Or ******* our pants at the end is karma for becoming a juco/castaway/kickaway haven. I love to win basketball games, but if we're going to be built on the kind of character that Fred apparently doesn't have a problem bringing in, then I think many proud cyclone fans will have to redouble their football commitment and consider an alternative for their basketball support.

we need players that have won in the past and that know how to win. Diante is a great player and it's not his fault that he had a loser for a coach and doesn't know how to do anything but lose. It will be nice to have guys on our team next year that know how to win and have been on winning teams in the past.

The Godfrey suspension wrecked the win tonight. We needed his ability inside especially at the last 3 seconds. SC and Ejim just let the guy make a layup. They had poor position for the last play of the game. We will be lucky to win one more game this year.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style.

Theres nothing wrong with DG getting the ball at the end of the game. The problem is that he gets it at the end of every half or game. Teams know he is going to get it, they plan that he is going to get it, and they know he is going to try and do a layup. Hoiberg needs to change it up and draw plays were DG can dish it to someone else either outside or to someone else for another layup. This team has become too predictable at the end of the game.

Yeah we should start bringing in more character guys like Kenny Pratt, jared Homan, and Jamal Tinsley since they were such high quality people. Oh how we forget when we win. These kids win and I will totally forget that royce beat up anybody at the mall of America. Also what did chris Allen, Anthony Booker, Chris Babb, and Korie Lucious do that is so low character. Can you please tell us. They did not break any laws like oh say Mike Taylor.

there's always an execuse, if we would've had so-and-and it would've been different. i'm sick of the excuses. we just need to get a win any way it come and we should've had it today. i hate how we sit around until 8 seconds on the shot clock and try to do something. it hasn't worked all year and cost us another game today! it's pathetic

Go cheer for the Tiddlywinks Club Team dude...you're a moron if you think he's not caring about how guys act or their character. See the suspensions he's handed out with an extremely short bench...you take some chances to bring in some talent and make sure they toe the line or they're gone.

“I’m just glad I have Homan as my bodyguard,” Eustachy joked. “If I ever make it real big and get to drive a limo everyday, he’ll be driving it. I thought he came off the bench like somebody was stealing his cow or something.”

I think you would have to replace DG with Kobe Bryant or someone ridiculous in order for our absurd end-of-game offensive plan to work at all.

The blame for every single one of these deja-vu losses rests firmly on the coach's shoulders.

I think it's ridiculous that we're even considering Harris, let alone some of the others that currently grace the cyclone uniform. I've always been a Fred fan, but you can't just turn a blind-eye to his willingness to consider some of the kids he has considering their past. I hope there is more pride in the cyclone nation than to swallow all sense of what student-athletes should be just for a few more wins.
