I heard it has something to do with he and another local player being shot at last week. The other player was shot, Cook escaped without injury, but he was the intended target.

wow. Can't blame the mother at all. Hopefully he can stay on the right track and graduate this year. I'd rather have him on the floor in 2012 than another player on the practice squad. (I'll take them both if that's an option, too)

as long as he gets here in 2012 it's really not an issue. Odds are he wouldn't of made the rotation.

Wow this sucks, Elgin has a ton of ability. One of our most electric recruits since Rashon Clark. Id much rather have 4 years of Elgin over 1 year of Korie L no doubt in my mind.

So now The Mayor has the ability to see the future? With that kind of ability, this team should be undefeated.

I doubt he'd need to look into the future to know if a senior was going to be eligible next year or heading to prep school. I would guess this is why the coaches have been recruiting like they had an extra scholly for next year all along.

1028 said he was going to prep school. Just like Brackins did. Obviously Fred knew this and oversigned, because technically Cook isn't in this class, he'll be in next years class.

We do need a waiver to get this kid out of there if he's being shot at. That's rediculous.

That sucks! Better graduate from somewhere! Sounds like hes had academic problems anyways this really isnt going to help. Hopefully its not as major as it sounds but it not looking good for him to be a Cyclone next year. On the other hand i guess theres Lucious's scholarship.
