Yeah, that's not you. Listen. If that team doesn't make postseason next year(and i count the NIT) then hoenstly i don't see them doing too well any other year down the road. I for one do not go to ISU or have a parent that went to ISU. I am just a fan. Have been a fan since i was 10. I wasn't born and raised a Cyclone. I am a passionate fan, but i can only take so much losing in basketball. Football i can give lots of time.

Re: I really think..
You guys have to realize in Michigan States offense Allen wasnt relied on doing a whole lot. He was however their team leader in three point percentage at a little over 40% I believe?? Babb is proven, honestly he may be the most proven one of the transfers he put up good numbers at Penn State. Booker, with a year off and only gettting better will be just fine next year, whenever I see him on campus I always think to myself "finally we have some big scary post players to go up against and not back down against the likes of Oklahoma State's of the world." Whites game will be like Fizers but White can shoot the rock a little better. Im just very pumped up for next year. I wish this years team had the mental capability to close the close ones out, this will come next year with experience.

When a team is trying to learn how to do that, there really is no such thing as a throwaway game. The transfers certainly look promising, but save Allen and Babb, none have major college basketball experience. RW hasn't even stepped on the floor for an exhibition game yet. Let's let them finish out this year before we start slobbering over next year's roster.

Still, Royce White is a top 20 caliber recruit who has had 2 years to mature. Hard to say he won't be at least an above-average Big 12 player.
But what I meant to say was that the players this year won't make or break our season next year. Scotty and Ejim are the only ones who will get considerable playing time.(Godfrey maybe if he comes on)
The starting 5 next year will be
Allen
McGee/Scotty
Babb
Ejim/Booker
White

Re: I really think..
I wouldn't be so quick on disgarding Godfrey from that starting lineup. Another year of development with his size and ability could make him very solid. Booker, White, Godfrey will all be options at the 4 spot. While I see Booker being the 5 and White being 4.

Re: I really think..
This is a fun team to watch. They never give up and play as hard as they can. Had a couple of our close losses went our way we could be talking about an NIT team here.

Re: I really think..
I don't think it's a huge leap of faith to think we'll be improved since we'll have a big upgrade in depth and athleticism/length which SHOULD lead to greatly improved defense.

Re: I really think..
It will be interesting to see what the non conf schedule looks like next year. Should be a lot tougher. Also, looking forward to gettig to play everyone twice.

Re: I really think..
I don't get some of you guys. Are you paying any attention to what is going on with this year's team at all? Some of you think that with 5 more guys that could play meaningful minutes would not make a difference with this years team. Look how close this team has come to winning games this year with an amazingly thin lineup. I will be disappointed if the Clones are not at least in the post season and hoprfully NCAAs next year. ISU will actually be able to play some post offense and defense next year, and not have to worry about playing football players the first time someone twists an ankle or gets a couple early fouls.
