Sledge moved to shooting guard

That's true, and I think Fred wants to have a system where there is no true point guard and we have several ball handlers on the floor. His height is going to limit who he can play on the floor with though, it's going to be hard to have Sledge and another 6' or below guard on the floor at the same time. Of course, whether he plays 1 or 2 in high school isn't going to change this.

I'm still a little skeptical of his ability to defend Big 12 guards, and if he can't stop people, he's going to have a hard time getting playing time.

Guess his defense would fit right in with this team, were giving up 80plus a game now. Can't stop anyone.

If Keiton Page can defend Big 12 guards I have absolutely no concern with Sledge doing the same. Sledge makes up for his height with his athleticism. So I think he will be fine. Missouri has guards that aren't much bigger with Dixon, Denmon and Phil Pressey.
