ESPN2 had a great locker room look-in before the Southern Miss/Memphis game just a few minutes ago. According to LE, the men are going to win and kids will go home.

So, we have been irreverent in basketball for a decade since Larry was fired. Those 2 conference titles seem so far away. I still have a strong hatred for BVD, LE displayed some questionable judgement but should never have been fired.

I can still remember the day when LE got fired. I was in Junior high driving down 8th street in west des moines. My dad turned to me in the said Carl you better remember the championship runs because they are not going to happen for a while.

Some would say what Mac did to our basketball program was irreverent, so I guess that works. I'd only say that he had a lot to do with making us irrelevant. I'm one in the camp that stops short of calling us irreverent. We haven't been that naughty. ;^)
