Eric's Play
I was so happy for McKnight tonight. He was finally given a chance to play, and I thought he made the most of it. He defended well, had a great tip-in, and even though he didn't rebound much, he was jumping about 4-5 inches above everybody to try and track them down.

I wasn't able to watch the game - but glad to hear that!

Re: Eric's Play
I thought he looked a bit lost out there. But i really liked the effort he was giving.

Re: Eric's Play
It's easy to see by watching that he is VERY athletic. He was skying up and above anybody else out on the floor. It's obvious that he needs more experience and more time to develop though. He could be extremely exciting to watch in a year or two.

Love the way he runs the floor, but I agree, he looked very lost for the most part.

Re: Eric's Play
He did not look lost at all. He played pretty good.

Re: Eric's Play
He needs to play. He brought energy to our team on defense which is what we need. We are not very good defensively.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -

Re: Eric's Play
He looked fine out there, especially considering he never gets to play. That tip in was awesome too.

I was glad to see Fred give him some PT, despite the dire circumstances that caused it. Will he see significant PT in the future (next few years)? Hard to say, but nothing I saw today makes me say no. Nothing I saw today makes me hope he transfers to give KL his scholly.

Re: Eric's Play
For the first time this year, he looked like a kid I could see playing for ISU in the future. Up until tonight, I thought the kid had no chance. He seems like an awesome young man and I'd love to see him make an impact down the road. He honestly surprised me today, looked relatively calm and collected out there tonight as well.
Definitely a good showing for McKnight. Of course he did look raw, but he looked like a basketball player with athleticism today. Earlier this year, he just looked like an athlete playing basketball. Big difference, and it was nice to see.

Re: Eric's Play
He definitely tried his best. That is all I can ask of him.

Not denying he did some positive things, but he had no idea where the ball was unless it was in the hands of who he was guarding. You can probably credit that to lack of experience and being in an overwhelming environment though.
