Is there anyone that doesn't hate Nebraska? Good to see K-State beat them at home and now Iowa state kills there NCAA chances.

    Re: Beat the Fuskers

If we beat them, it will hurt their NCAA chances bigtime. I mean, we are the dregs of the conference.

Then let's lay some wood on CU Later.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style.

Looks like K-State could end up 5th in the conference. We may be playing them back-to-back...not sure if that is a good thing or not.

I have no beef with Sadler. As far as I know the guy just does his job and isnt a **** talker. Pretty respectable from my persepective. However, I hope we beat them. Its really too bad nebbie has been such a stickler for us this year in sports.

Since we tend to do better in the 2nd half, I'd feel good about our chances for dominating in the 3rd and 4th half.

    Re: Beat the Fuskers

There has been a thread like this just about everytime we have played them in nearly every sport this year. So far it has worked out great. I'm not really superstitious, but the threads seem to be jinxing our squads...

    Okay, so I'm superstitious.

    Re: Beat the Fuskers

I hate all things Nebraska, period. So it would be just my luck that a co-worker in a cubicle across from me is a total Nebraska d-bag (even has a ridiculous Husker clock that hangs on the wall, how tacky is that?) Anyway, this guy, who seems to have a mild case of Asperger's Syndrome when talking husker football, will talk on and on how he and the rest of husker nation don't care about Nebraska basketball, as if they were proud that they don't, yet, he knows who all the players are and how each game goes. He stated back in January that the whole state of Nebraska was waiting for February 18th, when husker baseball kicked off their season. I'm anxiously awaiting to see how he doesn't care about Nebraska basketball when/if they make the NCAAs or go far in the Big12 tourney. Such a freaking tool.

does anyone else know nebraska fans like this?
I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.

How can they be successful when they obviously don't know how to even play the game???

Well naturally kNU fans migrate over to being Creighton fans for the winter. But once they realized Creighton blows, and will for the foreseeable future, they have to throw some interest in there own team that’s doing good.

There had better be guards along the Missouri River cause Creighton fans have already started jumping.

    Re: Beat the Fuskers

ISU should not lose this game.

But I said that about several other games this season, too. And last year. And the season before. Pretty much at least one example every year dating back about a decade.

If there's only one win left in the tank, it might as well be this one.

Honestly, sweeping this home stand would make me feel slightly less bummed about how this conference season has progressed.

Slightly. Even that's better than nothing.
