Re: We Still have a chance! (For the NIT)
Win out and 2 wins in the tourney to get a sniff. I like the optimism though.

Re: We Still have a chance! (For the NIT)
At this point beyond the next two games....I just want to see us win a game in the B12 tournament. If I happen to make it down there, at least I can be optimistic for a day about our chances for making a weekend splash in KC. That is all.

That's 116 teams with postseason chances. I think there is a chance. There is also the CIT which would be another 16 teams for a total of 132.

Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -

Re: We Still have a chance! (For the NIT)
I think this thread is legit if people say CBI instead of NIT.

Re: We Still have a chance! (For the NIT)
If we win 16, we make the CBI.

This team isn't playing any post season tournaments. I would literally be floored if that isn't the case.

Unlikely, though. The K State game to close out the regular season has bad timing written all over it. The Cats are on a serious roll right now. I'd be happy with a W over Colorado and one tourney win. 17 wins is right about where most posters here had them figured for at the start of the year.

OK, forget about seeing Tim Floyd or Eustachy in the CBI in Ames....Their teams are rocking with 20 wins. I did not know that...good for them. I still think this team plays a commercially-marketable, crafted matchup for the CBI if we win two more and finish above .500. I say us versus a MoValley school.
