He was turning off those picks, catching, rising and release in a flash! It was impressive.

What goes unnoticed is that he only played 23 minutes tonight, according to the box score. 23 points in 23 minutes, one point for every minute played, now that is efficient basketball! 10-11 from the field and 4 offensive boards, 11 total rebounds, absolutely amazing performance out of Godfrey. Hope we see more of this next year!

I don't think its clear cut either way. He might, and he might not. Does it matter though....we will have plenty of options. I will say this, Babb was a pretty well known player last year in comparison to Scotty. And a much better defender from what I've seen.

23 points in 23 minutes? That's Lafester-quality offense there, friends. And Godfrey actually plays defense, so he's a step ahead of "Doc" Rhodes.

I agree with the sentiment that Godfrey and Ejim are going to be monsters when they get their "freshman to sophomore" boost of talent; but don't forget Railey. Jared Homan looked like a complete goober his freshman year, and look at how he ended up. I'm willing to bet that Fred makes sure Railey gets the proper instruction on how to play an inside game in the Big 12.

If Royce plays the way that he is described, tough, large, almost Fizer-like. I can't wait for a lineup with Ejim, Godfrey, and Royce. I don't think the other team would get the ball until we score with all the offensive rebounds we'd get.

I like how our posts are gonna look next year. All are tough bruisers. Godfrey, Royce, Booker, Railey. It's gonna be a big change from having Ejim and JVB. I assume Ejim is gonna play more at the 3.
