OT - Oregon recruiting Violation
Sorry if this was already posted, has to do with a Texas man taking $25k to steer recruit to Oregon FB, per ESPN. Probably having to do with what was posted earlier this week about Sportsnation host Colin Cowherd about top 10 team being investigated.

Coach Chip Kelly stated in report that it's all legit, but NCAA still looking into it.

I will concede that sometimes it can be hard to figure out what the OP is talking about when it is in the wrong forum, but it looked fairly obvious from the start that this was football related.
People around here for some stupid reason get really offended when you make a mistake. Makes them feel powerful...as if they have never made a mistake before.

Re: OT - Oregon recruiting Violation
The whole thing about this is that it's was in Oregon's records. $20 this particular thing ends up to be nothing.
Re: OT - Oregon recruiting Violation
must not have been a very good player for only 25k

No kidding... I mean ISU offered me $30k and I never played football before. I told them no though because I just wanted to manage low income apartments.
Re: OT - Oregon recruiting Violation
Of the two teams that played in the national championship game, I'm floored that Oregon is the one being investigated for recruiting violations. Be patient, Chizik. Your turn is coming.

If anyone is interested in knowing more about this, here is an article with the story from an Oregon perspective. Lots of links included in the article to more information.
