You've got to love the thought of an utterly exhausted DG just collapsing to the court after we win though right?

Well yeah, and he'd better get as much rest as he can out of that, because we'd probably have to play on Tuesday...
Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice?
Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this.

That just reminded me of John Henry. We could go without the tragic ending though...

Yeah we need DG to find his inner Randolph Childress and just take over this tournament.

Only when he's hitting from outside. That's the downside of the mismatch - live by the jumper, die by the jumper. That aside, I do think it's a pretty favorable draw for them. One win is certainly possible, and it's not stretch to think they could get K State in the 2nd round after how tough they've already played them twice.

That's the problem though, if his shot isn't falling he's just another stiff on the floor because he brings little to the table defensively. He showed a new effort on the boards hist first 2 games back from the ankle injury that we hadn't seen all year though but I think in certain situations when the matchups call for it Godfrey needs to be in there more as he actually gives us a post presence on defense and makes it a lot more difficult for teams to take it right to the hoop on us.
    Go Cubs Go!
