Look at it this way
Hoiberg did something McDermott couldn't do in 4 years. Have a team have a .500 record or above. Future is bright and preperation for next years powerhouse team is on. Royce White, Chris Babb, Chris Allen, Anthony Booker. Get ready ladies and gentlemen.

Yeah heard this story before, future is bright (brackins, gilstrap, etc) Look at how it always pans out, into crap, I loved this teams effort this year and i will really miss DG but its always the same and wont suprise me if we go 16-16 next year as well

Re: Look at it this way
We'll have a lot better talent and depth next year. Hopefully the conference is so-so like it was this year. I feel like Fred really missed an opportunity to take a big step as a program, when no one expected it. Fred I think will be a good fit here, but he has to get a lot better as well.
With that said, this will be his first true off season, and I'm sure just like a FR, he'll make big strides going into his SO year.

Re: Look at it this way
Lost this game on the defensive end. Lost alot of them there this year.
Frustrating.

dont want to be negative, but please god keep these players out of trouble this offseason!

Re: Look at it this way
Gotta be proud of the effort and the overall accomplishments of the team this year, however it still hurts to be tied or leading in 7 games this year and lose them...
This was a great start, but next season will be huge in determining just how good of a hire Hoiberg was. The way the players played for him this year tells me that he's a good hire thus far, now if the recruiting goes well and we end up with an NCAA team next year I think the program is well on its' way to turning around...
Just a lot of time in the off-season to anxiously await the start of next year...
