College Insiders Tournament (CIT)

I read in the Denver Post this morning Air Force (15 wins and 15 losses) was invited to the College Insiders Tournament.

Any postseason play for our guys would be great. I wonder if Iowa State would get a look for this tourney.

Probably not.. I think we would hear something about it by now. Considering UNI knew the next day after their final loss. Plus, ISU if going over seas this summer for 2 weeks.

The way I understand it, the Big 12 has gone on record stating they dont support having their teams in the CIT or CBI.

It would be embarrassing for a Big 12 team to play a .500 team from a mid-major, and try to hype it up as postseason. UGH

This season is over. The new team will garner plenty of playing time over seas this summer as well. Hoiberg mentioned how this trip will be a great event for the team and will set them up nicely for fall practice.

It's worse than that. Coaches don't turn down bowls. They do turn down these kinds of tournaments.

Playing in a BCS conference, if you cannot be in the Top 100 (68 for NCAA, 32 for NIT), then you aren't postseason material. These other tournaments are a joke.

Yeah I understand but I'm a little selfish and want to see Diante and Jake play one more time.

We won't play in either of these tourneys, you have to guarantee $35K per home game. Record has no bearing, Oregon State has played the last two years with losing records.

The team has already dispersed. From Diante's tweets, he's already in Milwaukee.
