Yeah, no way the Big 10 deserved 7. MSU is average at best. They looked lost against Iowa, even in the Big 10 tournament.

I can agree with this, 7 out of the Big 10 seems a little much.

There's a lot of parity at that level in college bball so the committee can't really pick a bad team, just an undeserving one. If VCU, Va Tech, Colorado, Alabama, UAB, and St. Mary's played in a conference, they'd probably all be around .500.
