ESPN's talking heads do this every year. They'll never be happy no matter who gets in, they have to have something to ***** about. If they were to come on and just say "yeah, the brackets look great....good night everybody" no one is going to sit and watch. They have to stir things up.

I can agree with this, 7 out of the Big 10 seems a little much.

I think it was a mid major at large bid numbers game. 7 mid major at large bids compared to the 5 it probably should have been.

Even so, St. Mary's should have gotten in before VCU and UAB. And to have Gonzaga as the same seed as VCU and UAB is crazy.

The differences between VCU and UAB and the teams that didn't get in aren't that strong. There's a lot of parity at that level in college bball so the committee can't really pick a bad team, just an undeserving one. If VCU, Va Tech, Colorado, Alabama, UAB, and St. Mary's played in a conference, they'd probably all be around .500.
