Did Blum already pay C-dub for CU?

    Just checking.

I don't think either should have to pay. Williams was right in that Colorado was a tourney team...they were completely shafted. If you want to get all technical, sure, CW was wrong...but if Brent is logical then CW shouldn't have to pay at all. Just my take :)

No payment yet. CU definitely got boned. I may reduce the stakes. Other than Tad Boyle, CW may be taking this the hardest!

Colorado leaving is bad for the Big 12. Now they're packing the place, have a great coach in Boyle, and would add more horespower to our conference. The Big 12 is looked down a lot in men's bb (K-State snubbed just like this about three years ago). We need all the good teams we can get.

losing at Iowa State and barely beating us at the conf tourn may have hurt CU more than I thought

Not really. Gene Smith says it's their style of play. Too fast I presume.
The loss to San Fran probably hurt a little.

Gene Smith also said CU didn't get enough votes. Seeing that Beebe is on the selection committee, he may have been giving CU the old FU on their way out of the Big 12.

I love how Dan Beebe is saying F U to sCUm in basketball and kNU in football.

Beebe could not be in the room when B12 teams were being discussed per NCAA Rules.

How fair is the process for selecting the at-large teams?
The committee’s goal is to treat every team fairly in producing the brackets. The established principles and procedures themselves go a long way toward ensuring impartiality. For example, conference representatives cannot be in the room when teams from their conference are being discussed for inclusion, let alone being allowed to vote for them.

Completely disagree. Higgins and Burks are done after this year and they will stink. Them leaving makes the conference stronger

Exactly my thoughts. We're about 10 months away from CU getting 1500 in the stands again.

I think that you are spot on with your analysis my friend!

I will pay up. I lost the bet. I got jobbed, screwed & kicked in the butt on my way out the door, but I lost the bet.

Williams and CU both got jobbed but a bet is a bet. Man Code. The bet didn't specify who had to drink it. the bet was beer, correct?
