Not shocked given Hoiberg didn't even mention him when talking about players right after being hired. That kid almost made me look thick and my relatives can confirm the opposite.

As I mentioned just prior to Lucious signing, it didn't really matter to me that we were filling up our scholarship quota because at least one was bound to open up before the next recruiting cycle. Didn't realize it was going to happen this quickly, but someone was bound to get too antsy and quit.Quote:

Best of luck to him. Good news for both Mcknight and ISU. He can transfer to a level that fits his talent better where he will receive more playing time, and we have an extra scholarship to sign someone who is better and will contribute more to the program than him.
