Improvment of Scott!
Everybody else has had a thread about them so I thought I'd give Scottie one! I was looking at his stats from last year to this year and last year he only hit 45 three pointers and shot 43%. This year he hit 86 three pointers and made 44% and now is ISU's career 3 point percentage leader. I just thought this was a really interesting stat. I am really excited to see what he can do next year with more open looks!!

Re: Improvment of Scott!
He shot 42.9% last year. 44% this year

Re: Improvment of Scott!
Wonder how much his elbow and fatigue brought that down.
I hope he develops a better floater for next year.

Re: Improvment of Scott!
We played Kansas tough at Hilton. Scotty's elbow was in bad shape for that game and he was a non factor on the offensive end. At that point in the season, our guys were still relatively fresh. No one sick yet, no one suspended. I real feel had Scotty not been hurt for that game, we would have beat the Jayhawks at Hilton.

Re: Improvment of Scott!
One thing I would love to see Scott improve on next season is getting his shot off quicker when he comes off of screens.

Re: Improvment of Scott!
Didn't he have mono for a big part of last season? He averaged 10 more minutes per game this year.

Re: Improvment of Scott!
yeah, he had mono for a good part of the season. He was sicker and for longer than most realize.

Re: Improvment of Scott!
the kid made honorable mention all b12 and yet we don't even mention that. 86 3's at 44% (would've been 48% w/out the first and last two games) is a heckuva year. only lucca made more per game in ISU history than scotty.
i bet next year he approaches 50% given more rest, less pressure, and more threats on offense.
