BASKETBALL RECRUITING: 2012 prospect Georges Niang to visit ISU

I hope his visit goes well this week! Sounds like his recruitment is heating up.

We need a post like this.

Georges is going to see ISU and Iowa in back-to-back days. How does one not come away much more impressed with ISU? Look at the things ISU brings to the table right now. A brand new 24-hour accessable practice facility, James H. Hilton Coliseum, the roster, CFH's connections to the NBA, Coach Lutz, but most importantly, Fred's dreamy eyes. How does Iowa compete/compare with that?

This is nearly identical to the Jarrod Uthoff recruitment. We all (me included) don't know why we are offering the guy, then as more and more comes out on his games, he seems like a really good player, and towards the end we are all begging him to come to ISU. I hope we can just lock him up now before some of bigger schools come along.

Sometimes you're too worried on how good of an athlete the guy is, and forget about how good he is at basketball.

I never questioned the recruitment of Georges at all. In fact, I didn't watch the video...didn't care. If we offered it means we want him. That's all I need to know. Now that I've read more I really want to land him.

I wish the weather didn't suck so bad for his visit but I'm guessing that would be a minimal factor if at all.
