Way to kill my streak, Louisville
I have not had a Final4 team lose in the first round since 1991, when Richmond knock off Syracuse.
A very good first day yesterday. Butler got one back. Mizzou looked horrible. Michigan State didn't lose, they merely ran out of time. Even in defeat Izzo comes out looking like a master tactician and motivator. That furious show is why people will never count out his squad. Bet Texas fans wish Barnes had half the fire Izzo has.
These are the holiest of times.

Rick now has at least 2 separate 15 seconds of his life that he wishes he could do over.

Louisville met their Hampton.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -

I only lost 1 sweet 16 team yesterday, unfortunately I had TON of first round matchups wrong.

Re: Way to kill my streak, Louisville
This has to be the worst bracket I have ever filled out. The upsets I picked were wrong, and the higher seeds that I gave the benefit of the doubt folded..
..its madness.. in march..
Oh I get it now!

Oh I get it now! I entered roughly 5 brackets (normal pool, several onlines, including CF) -- basically the same one in each, with minor differences ... I was afraid to look until today. Thought I had put Richmond to Sweet 16 at least once, but I advanced Louisville every time. But I still liked UL losing in a 4-13.
And I had Belmont winning at least once in almost every one, and went with ODU instead of Butler, against my better judgment. Only upsets I've done right so far is picking Gonzaga and Richmond. I blundered the 7-10s.
It can only get better today — unless it gets worse! -
Re: Way to kill my streak, Louisville
I had louisville losing next round, so I am not sweating that upset, in fact I am happy they lost because they could have had a deep run!

It goes back to the 1986 tournament. It was the first one I entered. I was 10.

There was a silver lining — I was in this massive pool, allowed multiple entries, and I placed third by getting KU to the championship (with a different bracket than the Syracuse sheet, of course). Won something like $30 (which is about $47 in today's money! )
*But not this year!
