Staten would be a great pickup though. He really is a talented PG that knows how to score. Really mature for his age.

I wish BJ Young from Arkansas would de-commit and come to Ames.

I hope and pray that you are kidding. A kid doesn't only commit to a coach. They commit to a school. At kid on the fence about the school without the coach should at the very least wait until he has sat down with the new boss.

You mean the guy that got suspended and wouldn't play in the NIT? Derrick Rose had to have someone take his SATs. Colvin got suspended when we had no players, Evan Turner was a headcase his first years at OSU. Now, I would take them all, but the original Chicago hater has a case (a weak one).

BTW anyone think its funny Iowa is also recruiting Colvin? They hate on us for taking transfers, and they want our transfer.

Edit: Just read he eliminated Iowa from his list.

I have the exact opposite opinion...Chicago is a huge basketball talent pool. We just haven't been able to get in deep enough to get it. Simeon has sent talent all over the place...Moreover, you are choosing to overlook all the trouble we've had with non-Chicago kids.
