    another transfer rumor?

    I am hearing rumors that CFH is interested in one of these two guys as a possible transfer. At this point, I'm not sure which one. I'll try to find out more from my source.

    We were in on Spearman out high school. Plus Dayton does owe us one since we gave them our little Romulous point guard. Already forgot the kids name.
    Nobody but HB knows for sure. You pretty much know nothing....like Knownothing would like to say.

    Mac offered Spearman out of high school, but not sure he'd fit in with what we have now with Fred. The kid CW tweeted about, Ashaolu, would make more sense. He'd be eligible right away like Jake was this year

    I doubt we go hard after Spearman. Many say he was way overated in High School. He did not do much at Dayton this year. Don't know why. He might have just got stuck behind a better player

    Look for Iowa State and Fred Hoiberg to get ANOTHER transfer. Dayton transfer SG Brandon Spearman was recruited by Iowa State.

    No, but he could have gotten it from him. That's why the question mark in the subject line. I have a feeling Fran is all over these two transfers, which could explain the rumor coming from eastern Iowa. ;)

    One thing I really like about transfers is, I feel like they are a lot less likely to transfer again. They can burn their redshirt the year they have to sit out. Bet you dont see too many kids transferring twice though!
    Nothing burns my balls worse than having a solid player transfer out of our program. Or a superstar. (looking at you Wes)

    So is this a case where Iowa is actually interested but the source is also saying that CFH is also interested to boost his appeal? I guess if you were going to bring in an unsure player, having your rival also after him helps convince your fanbase. Then if he goes to Iowa it appears to be a recruiting win for Fran even if Fred wasn't really interested in the first place.
