Transfer U. What is the problem with that.
Not sure why everyone is trying to act like it's a bad thing to take these transfers. Iowa fans are calling us transfer U. So what? Who cares. Look at the teams that have taken transfers this year alone. Kentucky, Baylor, Memphis, Oregon, Illinois, and many other top teams will be taking them. All of this teams make regular runs in the NCAA tourney. I will take any transfer in my opinion that makes us better the following year. Just makes comming sense. Is Iowa just disappointed they are not getting any sniffs at these guys? College Hoops Update
Nobody but HB knows for sure. You pretty much know nothing....like Knownothing would like to say.

Yep, they're already upset about the beating they will take in Hilton Coliseum next season.

Nothing wrong with getting a program back on its feet. I would say that all the transfers really helped Eddie Sutton when he was at Oklahoma State.

If I were an Iowa fan I'd be upset, too. Look at the roster we have going into next year. Far better than what they will put on the floor in year 2 of Coach Fran.
Jealousy is a powerful emotion.

College Hoops Update I personally think it's much cooler to be a school that kids want to transfer TO, rather than transfer FROM.

Re: Transfer U. What is the problem with that.
If any fanbase should know that transfers are just a fact of college athletics these days, it should be ISU. I'd much rather have that nickname for bringing them in than losing them all the time.

Re: Transfer U. What is the problem with that.
it's only a bad thing when schools can sway traditional recruits from coming. As for now the +s far outweigh the -s. Ultimately winning will solve all these issues.
I compare Iowa complaining about our transfers to KU squawking about Tinsley getting a GED...so we must be doing something right.

Would Fran McCaffrey and Iowa fans pass on Royce White, Chris Allen, Korie Lucious, etc if those guys wanted to go to Iowa?! Not a chance.

That would be a huge NO, especially since they apparently have zero qualms over recruiting a 25-year old felon that has spent almost half of his adult life in prison.
Forever trying to find a cure for the Dunning-Kruger Effect. -

I would have no qualms at all with recruiting a guy who's served his penalty. Once the system is done with him, that's over. If Fred thought that the guy would fit here, I'm fine with a second chance for him, too.
That's a guy who's done so far what he's supposed to do. I'm more comfortable with that than with guys that get in felony trouble while they're here. But if they serve their penalty, then life moves on.

Re: Transfer U. What is the problem with that.
They couldn't even beat us in Karver when we didn't have our transfers. They're just getting all of their trash talk in now before we own them next year in Hiltion WITH the transfers....preferably by about 30 points, but 20 will be nice too.
