Worst Screw Job I.S.U. Ever Got?

I always think back to the Iowa State vs. Michigan State game! I believe it was Paul Shirley who was whistled on a block/charge call. When do you ever see a block/charge call in regular season much less the NCAA Tournament? Plus the Fizer PHANTOM "illegal screen" when ISU was up 5 late!

This. The MSU game was unfortunate, but that call gets made a ton. As for the 3 pointer, that was just pure stupidity.

The KU 3. Nothing else is even close. The rules aren't even written to allow it. It was just purely "we're going to let KU win because they are KU, so go **** your self ISU".

Seneca scoring an obvious TD against Florida State in FB.
Sammy Hill's non- travel in the Big 8 BB Final against KU.
The methodical "non partisan" BB officiating against Michigan State in the NCAA's.
The FB field goal against Alabama (was good by at least 4 feet).

There was one that we won - when we played Okie Light in BBall when they were ranked and had Big Country where every freaking call went their way and we still beat them.

The 72-29 beating by Kneebraskie in football still is my favorite game. That was during NU's undefeated season and we actually scored the most points on them all season and had a lot of offense. One of the last plays of the game was Dave Archer intentionally drilling the back judge with a pass right in the neck (we'd been called for holding way too much). Pete Taylor went nuts - it was a moral victory.

Oh goodness - how can I forget the KU bucket between free throws!!! ACK!

The worst screw job was being the fourth number 2 seed and having to play michigan St. practially on their home court, we beat them two out of three on a neutral court.

Couple that with having Curtis Shaw assigned to officiate the game makes it a screwing of epic proportions.

The basket between the FTs can only be described as a blatant screw job.
1-The play should of been erased
2-if you let it stand, why don't you pull the players off the line for the second FT then award us the ball?

As for the elite 8, if the double foul is a block and a charge and the ball had left Paul's hand why didn't the basket count?

I would like to thank you all for making me relive all of these moments if ISU history. I watched most of these live and remember the feelings that I had when they were over. Hopefully in the next few years we can make some good memories.
