Kansas will win their 8th Straight Big XII Title next year. I firmly believe this until they are eliminated.
Agreed. I think a rundown of there roster at this point is not going to reveal much since any holes in there roster will be filled by Self as he sees fit. Its not like there isn't an abundance of talent that wouldn't love to play for KU.
KU does a better job than just about anybody in the country and redshirting guys. To his credit, Self does a great job of bring guys along slowly and developing their talent. They'll be just fine next year, especially now that Selby (not Shelby) has a full year under his belt and won't have to sit out any time. Selby did not play well after his injury and didn't reach double digits in his last 10-12 games, but the kid can play and he'll likely be a first team B12 guy next season. Also, Robinson is skilled inside and Taylor, though inconsistent plays excellent perimeter defense and does a good job of managing the game. I don't know that KU will be the prohibitive favorite going into next season, but it's still their league to lose.

Yeah, I've been through this about 30 times with Kansas, and every year they seem to reload like nothing happened. They'll certainly miss the Morris twins, as everything seemed to revolve around them this year.
Compared to this year they should be down. But, they were so loaded this season that I don't see how you could be anything but down. By losing the Morris', they suddenly become a beatable team. While they will still be in the top several teams in the league, they won't be head and shoulders above the rest of the league.
I think Robinson will be a beast next year. Selby will have a breakout year and be the guard most thought he was coming in. Both will leave after next year. Taylor & Johnson will also have a good year. KU needs another post player because I just don't see Whitney getting it done. The big surprise will be Releford. He has a ton of potential and it will be his turn to step up. Another question will be 3 point shooting. It seems like in college basketball if you make 3's you win and if you miss you lose. I'm not real confident KU will make a lot. But the twins were terrible on the defensive end. I think KU will have a defensive team similar to what Self usually wants.
Rumor says Robinson is off to NBA. I don't blame the kid. He's gotta take care of his little sister.
Selby should go to NBA while there is "potential" still exists. He started out to be one and done until mid January and he is barely hanging on to late first round to mid second round pick. There is no guarantee that he will become top 10 pick in next couple of years under Self's system. I think he wanted to become Derrick Rose type of player where he is THE star player, but I don't think he was fitting into Self's system since it is all about focusing on team plays and play around Morris twins (at least this year).
