Looks like Hoiberg will be facing Sean Miller from Arizona in the finals for Shots from the Heart. Miller missed 2 shots in his Final 4 match-up and then only made 13 in the bonus (the other coach had also missed 2 of the first 25).
Miller has missed a total of 10 shots so far, to Hoiberg's zero. You gotta feel really good about this one. I think the "finals" were really Hoiberg vs. Alford in the Elite 8.
I still wish this would have gotten more publicity both for Iowa State and for the cause, but it is still cool to see Fred destroy everyone on the way to the finals.

I like the Mayor's chances just a little bit in the Finals.
Then again... based on his dominant performance through the tournament to date there will be some coaches petitioning to not allow Fred to enter this deal next year. Perfection has it's price.

Re: Hoiberg against Miller for Shots from the Heart finals
Anyone see Fred shooting his free throws. He had a peice of paper in his hand the whole time and knocked down 25 in a row. While holding a peice of paper.
Nobody but HB knows for sure. You pretty much know nothing....like Knownothing would like to say.

Yes, and you can hear the players practicing in the background making fun of him about it too.
