There is a bigger shocker than this about to be released regarding a former Hawkeye.
Nobody but HB knows for sure. You pretty much know nothing....like Knownothing would like to say.

Sucks for them. He was an annoying little pain in the ***, so as a Cyclone fan, that must mean I thought he was pretty decent.

Re: Payne out at Iowa
He only played in 5 games last year, he was a non factor that was replaced last season, after he was injured. He saw the writing on the wall.
The only bigger turnoff than finding out a woman smokes, is finding out she's a Husker fan. -

It's believed that he was playing hurt for those first 5 games, which limited his effectiveness. Is he better than Cartwright? No, but he would have been a dependable backup.
As for Tucker, Hoiberg really should take a pass on that one. Tucker has demonstrated time and again that he can't stay out of trouble. He'd rather party it up than take basketball seriously. If ever there were a transfer that was guaranteed to backfire on Fred, it would be Anthony Tucker.

Why would you even want Tucker? A standstill set shooter that cant guard anybody

Re: Payne out at Iowa
Cully Payne hasn't developed much since middle school! He committed to DePaul as a 10th grader I believe and following his 11th grade year both sides agreed he was not a Big East style player. That is saying a lot...if you can't play at DePaul right now...yikes!

He's a better shooter and doesn't turn the ball over as much. Plus I think he is just as good of a defender. Cully's numbers in a slow offense as a freshmen are not that far off from Cartwrights as a Junior in an uptempo
