The potential replacement may have a national championship ring and could know the Big 12 pretty well.

Hence my use of the word "sometimes". Really not that hard.

I may be out in left field, but I would be excited if they hired him. Absolutely not. This won't happen.

Re: Sources: Bobby Lutz to N.C. State
Had a feeling this was looming but it was a matter of when the first North Carolina job would come calling because i've heard he was a little skeptical of leaving NC because of his ailing father....

Quin Snyder!
Everybody deserves a second chance, and he was a solid assistant at Duke in the 90's

Lest I forget........good luck, Bobby! Best wishes at your new place, and getting a head job somewhere soon!
As for our team, I think Freddie is a better coach for having Lutz on the staff, and I'm very confident that he will find great coaches to fill out our staff.

Yes, Fred is still new to coaching but he isn't new to the game. Exactly. People overreact way too much. We will be fine. Trust Fred.

Re: Sources: Bobby Lutz to N.C. State
Nurse was canned immediately when Fred was hired, literally immediately.
There was a major reason Crawford, Nurse and crew were not tied to the T-wolves.
Good luck Lutz...best wishes, thank you.
I would love to see L Brown on the sidelines with CFH.

Re: Sources: Bobby Lutz to N.C. State
Bobby was (is) a very good coach and from a radio show mentioned during a game that he told fred a couple things that I thought was great advice. First one was "The other coach has the ear of the refs. You need to get on them a little and let the refs know you're here too. The other dealt with time outs an if they score another basket we will need to call a TO.
This type of relationship has to be difficult to foster. It takes guts to tell your boss what to do even if he asks for it. It also has to be hard to ask for on freds part. With that said I think fred will be able to get another coach with that type of experience that will fill the void Bobbie leaves behind. the good thing is that Cyclone nation has good thoughts of Bobbie. Good Luck, I'll be checking out NC St now
