    Transfer In U.

    I have no idea who will be the next player to transfer in, but there is one kid I feel sorry for (I know not the reason).

    Matt Gatens at SUI will be a senior next season on that **** hole of a team and it is highly doubtable they will have a winning season. He should transfer to Creighton, UNI, or similar.

    But, it would be hilarious if he attempted to transfer to ISU and Fred took him in!!

    Well he wanted to be a Hawkeye so bad so he can stay there and be a Hawkeye

    No chance that would ever happen.

    But I, too, must admit I have felt sorry for Gatens at times. He had no chance but to grow up a Hawkeye: Lived in Iowa City, dad's a former Hawk (and a major *** hole).

    Despite that, Matt seemed like a nice kid and it was his dream to play for the Hawks. When he finally got his chance, it coincided with one of the worst down periods in their history. I'd have to think he will someday look back upon his dream as a huge disappointment.

    I like matt gatens- not sure we need to drag him into this.

    Wish I could have a better attitude towards the hawks but such a high percentage of their fans are tools.

    What the??? I dont think Fred is accepting every single transfer. He sees them very carefully to determine if those transfer fits in the needs of Iowa State future roster.

    I think this thread is epic fail.
