Will Hoiberg let us forget the pain next year?

If Fred moonlights as a bartender then yes.

Except Wayne's time was the only somewhat bright spot in the past decade.

That is debatable. He had his high and low moments here including one of the most underachieving teams full of talent his final season.

Not really sure it is debatable. Despite the team's underachieving, they still went to the NIT Final Four in 03-04 and won an NCAA Tournament game in 04-05. Absolutely the only bright spots of the last 10 years.

What other bright spots did I miss that were better than Wayne's time?
Re: Will Hoiberg let us forget the pain next year?
Honestly, what he and this team did this year has made me forget all the horribleness from the last 4 (which happened to be my 4) years. So, yes. I still have cautious optimism about next year though...

C'mon. You can't have an avatar like that, and be "cautiously optimistic". **** is WINNING, and CalGod is gonna bring it!
On a serious note, I'm interested to see how much he improves. I feel like that guy is driven...

It is so sad that there are still people so small and dense that they still try to scapegoat Wayne Morgan.
It isn't even that they aren't bright enough to give him any credit for what he did here. My goodness, the guy took over a program that was a national joke after Larry the Lush, and Randy come and look at my computer at this naked child Brown. He kept the thing afloat for that idiot chewey to come in and devastate.
All he did was win some games, FUN games like Kansas at home his first year, and the LAST time that Hilton Magic ever made an appearance, against UT that year.
Then he won AT Kansas, and still there are "people" that refuse to give him any credit. What a sad life you people must live.
I don't care enough about you to look at your post history, but I WILL BET ANY AMOUNT OF MONEY, that you were defending chewey until his last day, probably the pr snow job that was mccarney too.

Pain? What pain? All I can see is cardinal and gold colored rainbows.
Re: Will Hoiberg let us forget the pain next year?
McDermott leaving for Creighton had to be one of the brightest points in the last decade, but yeah, there were some good moments with Morgan.

The return of Haluska and the comeback against Bob Knight and TTU in '05 would like a word with you.
Re: Will Hoiberg let us forget the pain next year?
Wayne Morgan did what he could....he brought us serious talent, now he didnt coach them up but McD sure as hell was way way way worse.
I just wish BVD would have manned up & given LE another chance & get him the help needed.
The worst part of the last decade was the death of Pete Taylor which preceded LE's firing. They were like long lost brothers & had Pete remained on earth, I doubt LE would have got fired. As must of a pr!ck that BVD was, I think Pete has ballz big enough to save LE's job...
